Hybrid conference to equip tourism players for future travelers
“There is now a necessity to plan and tailor our tourism products and services to meet the needs of future travelers,” said Mr. Hii Chang Kee, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Sarawak, recently at the virtual launch of tourism conference TuesdayTalk Live (TTLx) Summit 2021, happening 1st-2nd December 2021 virtually and in person at Imperial Hotel Kuching.

“Travelers will now place more importance on safety and flexibility, hybrid meetings, health and wellness and appreciating nature. We must revive the connection with our travelers, inform them of our readiness to receive them when borders reopen, fully vaccinated, and ensure their safety with strict SOP while still providing a unique and memorable experience,’ he added.
“Instead of rushing back to the way things were before, find new core values, create new covid-safe attractions, make sure key touch points are safe and covid-ready, and manage tourism with technology,” said Doug Lansky, travel writer, tourism consultant and destination expert who will be a keynote speaker at TTLx Summit 2021.
