Gardenscapes Sarawak, a new gardening expo happening 29^th-31^st January 2021 at the Hills Kuching, recently launched the My Beautiful Garden online competition to encourage people staying at home and adhering to the new norm to participate in healthy gardening activities and share pictures of their garden produce and flowers.

The My Beautiful Garden online competition is open to all Kuching gardening enthusiasts. Taking place on social media platform Facebook, interested participants are invited to share pictures or videos of themselves in their garden and tag Gardenscapes Sarawak’s official Facebook page as well as use the hashtag #MyBeautifulGardenKch. Posts and pictures with the most likes will be shortlisted and the top 3 winners will be visited by the organisers.

Gardenscapes Sarawak will be the first of its kind gardening and farming expo that brings together professional gardening and farming experts, entrepreneurs and gardening enthusiasts who are looking for information, tools and products to enhance their gardening experience or even start a business enterprise. The 3-day expo features product demonstration and promotion, educational talks and workshops on topics such as vertical gardening, waste composting, hydroponic tips, fertigation planting, medicinal plants, landscape workshop and more. The event also features lucky draw prizes for the public as well as a specially curated farmer’s marketplace.

The grand prize winner of the My Beautiful Garden competition, to be announced during the event next year, will be entitled to receive RM1,000.00 cash prize as well as a set of gardening tools. Closing date for submission of photos and videos is on 30^th November 2020.
