Props to Place Borneo for a wonderful time in Kuching and Sarawak. I was invited to cover the Kuching Waterfront Jazz Festival and they made sure all arrangements were in order before, during and after my visit. They were so efficient and flexible that they manage to give a memorable 2-day show despite moving locations due to the haze. They also made sure to see us through in immersing with the local culture and experience by visiting some Sarawak’s top attractions like the Gunung Mulu National Park and trying out local delicacies. Definitely made my first trip here memorable.

The Kuching Waterfront Jazz Festival was well organized and impeccably executed in spite of the relocation to an indoor venue. But my positive impressions didn’t stop there. The other missive of our trip was to get a glimpse of Gunung Mulu. I admire the willingness and vivacity of Place Borneo to figuratively and literally go the extra mile in taking the trip, including the cave explorations, in the aftermath of the jazz festival. Not only were we well looked out for, we were given a wonderful glimpse of Kuching, Mulu, the people and the culture. The Place Borneo team are as much about being good ambassadors of Borneo as being excellent events implementers.

Thanks SO MUCH for all you did to make the inaugural KWJF such an awesome experience! The media arrangements were superb, the music out of this world, the venue fabulous, and the hospitality and warmth just perfect… 🙂 You all rose above the call of duty to do so many other extra things, I was so impressed and inspired. Thank you for your professionalism, love and cheerfulness – you have raised the bar now for all festivals I attend, hah hah! I had a comfy flight back to Bangalore and am back at work now.
